so it's been nearly a full 12 months since this blog was used.
i wanted to find out where twitter and facebook were going.
i'd dipped my toe into cyberspace with the website www.ph-pictures.com but to fully commit to having a website/blog/twitter/facebook and 4 email accounts was costing too much time.
i really should bite the bullet and revise the website and incorporate the an automated updater.
the other issue i had - still have - is that i do not want to have my pictures sitting on a server for any length of time.
the reason is simply this, once an image is posted online, it cannot be removed.
sure - i can delete the original file, but the image is out there somewhere albeit compressed or residing on a back-up disk somewhere, but it is still out there.
i have numerous shots of models who donated their time and talent with out wanting to sign release forms, the least i can do is respect the tacit agreement (we have) that their images - from my camera - won't be used for commercial use without due recompense.
in an effort to clean things up and bring everything up to date - this little sideshow of a blog will resume.
